Terms & Conditions for Nest Cornwall CIC.

Nest Cornwall CIC is a creative and nature based setting at Chyan Cultural Centre and the Tolmen Centre which values community, creativity and wellbeing. 


Nest Cornwall CIC, originally known as Song Speak was founded by Lucie Hill in November 2022.  Our freelance facilitators do not teach the national curriculum. If you would like to read about our team please visit website link https://www.nestcornwall.co.uk

There are no exams or tests at Nest Cornwall CIC.

To ensure the safety of your child and our facilitators, there will be an adult child ratio of 1:8.

A one-off registration fee of £20 will apply to each group attending (max of 3) and this will be added to your first invoice. This goes towards the ongoing costs of our sessions including firewood, tools, craft materials, stationery.

Nest Cornwall CIC follows the school term and bookings for your child will need to be paid half termly in advance (at least 7 days before first date of term). Sessions are £30 per child per session. Max group size is 16.

Mondays & Fridays 10.30-2.30pm Chyan Cultural Centre.

(In the winter the monday group will relocate to The Tolmen Centre)

Thursdays 10.30-2.30pm The Tolmen Centre, Constantine.

Please pack your child nut free snacks/lunch and a water bottle. Please inform us of any intolerances or allergies on the registration form.

Monday's session includes a vegan snack.

Nest Cornwall CIC values screen free time and unless it is for a medical reason ask that you leave personal devices at home. 

Nest Cornwall CIC is a nature based home educating setting that doesn't have a permanent venue and is required to pay a lease. If at any time the venue or times needs to change to suit the needs of the setting, notice will be given immediately and you will be given a choice to keep or withdraw your child's place.

Stanka Smith (Mondays & Fridays) Nature Group Leader

Certificates:  Public Liability (Imagine Outdoors)  Paediatric First Aid Certificate. DBS checked. Food Safety & Hygiene.

Natasha Macewan (Thursdays & Fridays) Creative Arts Facilitator

Certificates: DBS Checked.

Katy Bryce (Mondays) Parent volunteer. DBS checked. 


If a session can not run for example, due to staff shortage, urgent notice will be given and parents/carers will be contacted via the Parents WhatsApp group and the session will be refunded. If you think that your child's and family's needs aren't being met, you can withdraw your child's place in writing. A minimum of 4 weeks notice is required and any remaining sessions will be refunded.
